Certainly one of Castle Golf’s most ambitious projects to date in Bristol is now open and trading. Saturday July 25th was the official opening date but such was the demand, the Management opened up partly the night before. On the Saturday morning, queues formed early to be among the first to sample Bristol’s latest and greatest leisure attraction. The two magnificent indoor courses in the heart of Cabot Circus Shopping Centre feature state-of-the-art special effects and design. Clever graphics and rockwork combine to give the golf adventurer that ‘lost world’ feeling.

At Sibinic in Croatia, a stunning, brand-new 18-hole Adventure Golf course has just opened. Designed by the Adventure Golf Developments/Castle Golf team, the entire course is ‘Pirate’ themed and the owners have extended the theme to include buildings on and around the site. For example, there is even a bar/disco area which masquerades as a Pirate Galleon. The site is set on a beautiful seafront location.

The extensive project in Bristol is now very near completion. The site is very large anyway but the effects give the impression of endless depth and distance and the players will feel very much ‘in the jungle’ as clever graphics and rockwork combine to give the golf adventurer that ‘lost world’ feeling. There is even a volcano that you play through – but watch out for the occasional eruption when the clever electronics and lighting effects can produce more than a few scary surprises!

Bristol (UK) - Castle golf start installation of exciting new 36 hole golf complex at Cabot circus in Bristol 20th April 2009
Two new outdoor courses in Fife, Scotland are now open and doing good business, despite opening in the middle of a cold and snowy winter. Matthew the owner, has generated some extra income from the sale of scarves and gloves and one group of enterprising youngsters introduced a new variant of the game - 'Strip Adventure Golf', at zero degrees and with several inches of snow! )
